Leiriydyimme ja lahdin viemaan Ollia ja Severia netin ulottuville, leirintaalueella kun ei toiminut edes puhelimet. We ended up missing NYC, because our small car was having more problems. We got the car back from the mechanics on Tuesday and then we drove to Maryland. We tried to reserve a campsite, but it didn't work out. They told us that we could just show up and go to an empty spot. Well we arrived at eleven o'clock and the gates were closed. We called the number on the window of the office, which is for when you arrive after hours. They were informed that we can't go in, because the quiet hours had started. They told us that we should go to a boat launch (which was apart of the same state park), and sleep in the parking lot. So far it is the most peaceful place we have slept at. We woke up at around nine o'clock and the boat launch was filled with turkey eagles and other big birds. A park ranger drove over when we were leaving and told us that the campground is now open and we could get a camp spot. We got set up and headed to the nearest city with cell signal, since the campground is in the middle of nowhere. I dropped off Olli and Severi to a coffee shop and I went to the town of North East, Maryland with the four other kids. We went to the beach, the kids dipped their feet in the Atlantic, even though it was a chilly day. In the evening the made some food on the fire pit, it took a while but it tasted great.
